HOW LONG DOES MY HAIR HAVE TO BE?
Your hair should be at least 4 inches long to have hair extensions, if the hair is to short it will look false and unatural.

WILL THE EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY HAIR?
Hair extensions are very safe to use if they are fitted and cared for correctly. Extensions do take time and care to keep them looking good. A care sheet is always given so please remember this before having them fitted. I always advise having the extensions removed after 3-4 months.

WHAT IS SINGLE DRAWN?

Every hair piece looks like a ponytail made of different lengths of hair. The very short hairs have been removed.
For example: a hair piece of 20 inches of remi quality and single drawn has hair lengths of 14”, 16”, 18” and 20”.

WHAT IS DOUBLE DRAWN?

Every hair piece contains only hair of the same length. This makes this type of hair piece also the most expensive one as this procedure is done by hand, not by machine.
For example: a hair piece of 20 inches of remi quality and double drawn has hair lengths of 20” only. It contains no hair shorter than that.

WHAT IS DOUBLE DENSISTY?
Double density is where two wefts of "single Drawn" are stitched back to back to give extra thickness on a shorter weft. This is not the same as "Double Drawn"

WHAT IS WEFT HAIR?
Hair that is sewn together in a continuous strip at the root end of the hair shaft. This can be done by hand or by machine.
The best weft is sewed by hand. The strip is thin and hardly looses any hair when its brushed or combed.

WHAT ARE HAND TIED WEFTS?

Hand tied wefts are done by hand and are much thinner then machine wefts. They will lay flat against your scalp to give you a more natural look and significantly reduce hair bumps caused by bulky wefts . Hand tied wefts come in pieces about 24 inches long, you get about four to five pieces per pack depending on the length of the hair. All of are wefts are reinforced to prevent shedding.

WHAT IS VIRGIN HAIR?

Virgin hair is not processed in any way it is 100% natural, so there is no damage to the cuticles. The cuticles protect the hair so it is important that they are intact. I use only hair that is hand selected to be soft and beautiful, a lot of care is taken to make sure that all the cuticle run in the same direction to prevent tangling. This is expensive and harder to get hold of.

WHAT IS PROHAIR?

Prohair is man made but can still give fantastic results. Straighteners can be used but only at a heat setting of 120 degrees. As it is very lightweight, it can be the best choice for fine hair or hair that is slightly damaged due to over processing and/or colourants and peroxide.
